About

With over 30 years experience, Helena Harry has practiced architecture in the UK, France and Australia. She now lives and works in Melbourne where she continues to focus on designing with a strong response to site context, be it urban or rural, collaborating with a wider design network.

HHA works primarily with residential projects, from new-build houses, to refurbishing historically sensitive buildings and small extensions. Working firstly to understand the client’s needs, HHA responds to the architectural and the wider context, seeking to create effortless flow and looking to reveal the full potential of each project, within the constraints of budget.

Our approach to sustainability takes into account site orientation, choice of materials and their footprint, opportunities for recycling where appropriate, as well as an exploration of the potential for low energy use, as a by-product of the built form as well as through green energy products.

HHA is living and working on the land of the Wurundjeri Woi Wurrung People.  They acknowledge the Traditional Custodians of this place and pay respects to their elders past, present and future.
